Resul Acar | 106 GTi K20 swap.

Bonjour France! 

This is my Peugeot 106 GTi Sundance Yellow from 16 January 2003. I own it sinds 27-08-2013. Current mileage: 173xxx km.

Engine:
- 1.6 16v TU5J4
- Simota airbox with K&N large filter.
- JP4 rocker covers.
- Raceland 4-2-1 exhaust manifold.
- Baker BM engine mounts (all of them).
- Ragazzon De-cat pipe.
- OEM mid silencer.
- EGR removed.
- KAM racing backbox (rolled out).

Gear box:
- OEM GTi gear box.
- Group N gear linkages.
- Quickshift.

Suspension:
- Bilstein B8 front dampers.
- Bilstein B8 rear dampers.
- Eibach -50mm springs.
- OMP lower strut brace.
- OMP upper strut brace.
- Brand new refurbished & lowered axle (January 2014).

Brakes front:
- Brembo 4 pot calipers (complete refurbished by myself and powder coated in RAL color 1021).
- Brembo 288mm Xantia V6 vented disks.
- Ferodo OEM brake pads.
- Stainless steel brake lines.
- 23.8mm Master Brake Cylinder.

Brakes rear:
- OEM calipers.
- OEM 247mm disks.
- OEM brake pads.
- Stainless steel brake lines.

Wheels and tyres:
- 16" 406 Nimrod (offset 20!) black plasti dipped.
- 10mm spacers on the front (because Brembo's, lol) 
- 15mm spacers on the rear. 
- Front: Toyo T1R 195-40-16.
- Rear: Fulda 195-40-16.

Lights:
- In.Pro headlights with 3000k bulbs.
- 3000k bulbs in the foglights.
- LED interior lighs. 

"Comfort" & Audio:
- OEM armrest.
- Air conditioner.
- ABS. 
- Alcantara/leather interior. 
- JVC Head unit.
- Rockford Fosgate Power compo set front speakers. 
- Alpine rear speakers. 

In August 2 I had a little accident on the front side. I had to replace the front bumper and bonnet as soon as possible. The colour is now brown, but will be yellow as soon as possible!

May I ask you why did you register to this forum ? Because you are a "little" far away from France

Thanks for the welcome! 
The car is not slammed at all, and the 16" rims does NOT scrape anywhere! I have 195/40/16 tires on it. And it goes well, never had problems with it  .
Why I did register here is because the car is a French car . And I love the style here in France! Mabey I can buy some parts from this forum.

@106ET; I have read your blog, you have a nice GTi to! Yellow is always No.1 .

Today I have bought a new rachet set from TengTools. It's a 1/2, 1/4 and 3/8 set. Can do things more easy now!
My car had some problems today. The injector of cylinder 4 is dead . Bought a new injector. Will fix that tomorrow. 





Inlet off, tomorrow new injector will come in.

A little bit late, but the car is running again! I have replaced the old injector-rail with a ''new'' one with 4 other injectors. The car is running good now. Also replaced the old inletgasket for a new one. 

3 weeks ago I had changed my -60mm LTEC springs for -50 Eibach. Much stronger and a better handling!
